Hey, the update for my text engine is almost complete, but I'm having an issue caused by my new word wrapping system - the last word won't show up, and the project lags due to a variable continuing to update rapidly. Could someone help? Thanks!

btw yes this can be fixed by just adding an extra space as the last character but i dont want everyone to just add a space as the last character - that would probably make people not want to use it anyway

Actually, idk if this will work but if you something where when you type it creates a clone of a letter and then based on the letter size the stamp moves over a set distance then when the stamp gets to a certain x value it changes y by something and goes to the opposite x value

That is exactly what it does - it checks if the current character is a space, and if it is then it'll count the amount of letters before the next space and add the width of those letters to a variable via list. if the width exceeds the limit, it'll make a new line. That's what word wrapping is.

Without taking the entire word, it'll just go by letter, which is what VText V2.0 does. Not the best thing ever, but it works.

you know how in some books or texts when a word cant fit on a line then they replace the last letter on the line with a - and then continue the word on the next line. That's the other best thing that I can think of

Not what I need tho, I need to fix the continuous updating of the variable and last word not loading.

its pretty good, here's some things you can add if you feel up to it
-a frenzy mode that turns on when you click fast enough
-pandas that fly on the screen that you can click to give you 5-25% of the pandas you have
-a boom box that you could buy that lets you change music/play different songs
-(if you do the one above) music tracks to that the player could unlock other music
-a upgrade where you get a click mult for the # of people that heart and star

that's all I can think for now
