Episode 3 - The Hunt

SCENE 1
Avery wakes up in the morning getting ready like a baddie
As she exits the HQ, someone pops up from behind her.
Nano: Avery?
Avery: AHH- (startled) oh… (getting nervous) hi… Nano. What are you doing this FINE morning? Ha… ha… ha.
Nano: Nothing, What are you doing?
Avery: Just…going to…take a walk down the streets of Scratchlandia! I haven’t properly got to explore yet, so… um…BYE!
Avery zooms away.
Nano: Okay, weird.

SCENE 2
Avery is at the the lair entrance
She looks at the guards
Avery: hello’ im–
The guards move aside and the door opens
Gobo: Hello.
Avery: oh, uh, hii!
Gobo: Follow me.
They walk to Gobos office
Gobo: so what information do you have for me?
Avery: um…well, you see, i wasnt really sure what kind of information i need to gather, so i came here to ask–
Gobo: so you got no information.
Avery: Yeah…
Gobo: sighs, palms his head
SCENE 3
Pico comes in living room to see nano the ipad kid on the couch
Nano: *yawns* what are you doing awake?
Pico: I could ask you the same thing.
pico sits next to him
Pico: wheres avery?
Nano: oh she left
Pico sits up abruptly
Pico: WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE LEFT?????
Nano: she just left-?
Pico: YOU *beep* WHY WOULD YOU JUST LET HER LEAVE LIKE THAT
Nano: IM SORRY IM SORRY.
Pico: WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
Scratch Cat: (yawns) what in scratchlandia is all this yelling about…? (sleepy)
Pico: NANO JUST LET AVERY LEAVE THE HEADQUARTERS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT UNSUPERVISED!!!!!!!!
Scratch cat: what. (silent anger sigma boy)
Nano: I SAID IM SORRY
Giga and Tera exit their room
Giga: *yawns* whats all the ruckus about..?
Tera: yeah (yawns) its like…night A.M.
S.cat AND Pico: AVERYS GONE!!!!
Giga: …what. (also silent anger, twitch yeye,)
Pico: ITS ALL THIS LITTLE *BEEP*S FAULT!
nanos just crying in the corner
(pico pls improvise some scolding and yelling)
(nano just cry and apologise and things like that)
scratch cat paces back and forth
pico starts slapping nano while he cries
Tera: NO STOP PICO NO
SCEATCH CAR: WE HAVE TO FIND HER COME ON
SCENE 4
avery is just dozing on a chair
Gobo: okay, now listen. heres what you have to do. you have to find scratch cats Life Orb– are you listening
Avery: *like u just been woken up rudely* huh? oh, yeah (sleepy murmur like youre dreaming)
Gobo rolls his eyes
Gobo: PAY ATTENTION
avery falls off the chair
Gobo: you need to find where he keeps his life orb!!
Avery: *sleep talking* life orb! preety life orb!
Gobo: wake UP!
Avery gets up
Avery: LET ME SLEEP!
Gobo: why are you even here if you're just going to SLEEP??
SCENE 5
They're walking the streets of Scratchlandia
Tera: oh, im so worried about Avery!
Giga: that brat ran away on purpose, i just know it.
Nano: JIM!! HAVE YOU SEEN A GIRL WITH BROWN HAIR AND A WEIRD OUTFIT??
camera points to jim swimming in the sky
Jim: Saorry brother, i dont know where she is!!
Nano: OH! WELL THANKS ANYWAY JIM..
walk a bit more
scratch cat: where could she have wandered off to…?
Nano: (screams like a high pitched girl) PEACOCK
Jumps into Picos arms
Nano: (awkward chuckle)
Pico drops him
SCENE 6
Avery: so you want scratch cats life orb.. doesn't that like…kill him?
Gobo: exactly. which why i need you to get it.
Avery: okay…
Gobo: do what you can to find it.
Avery: why me?
Gobo: what?
Avery: i mean, why did you choose me to help you?
Gobo: i just… heard that you're…strong.
Avery: where could you have possibly heard that? all i am is just.. the daughter of the Queen.
Gobo: you're a princess.
Avery: yeah, i guess…
silence for a bit
Gobo: what do you want me to get you? you know, for helping me.
Avery: sighs. i just…i doubt you'll be able to, but i was hoping… that maybe i wouldn't be known as the Queens Child anymore… even when i do eventually become Queen, i will have to marry this guy i don't even like. I thought…i was just hoping that maybe you could…i dont know, get me my own kingdom where i can rule how i want. i know, i realised you probably cant do that now…it's… stupid.
Gobo stares at her for a bit
Gobo: I'll find a way. (softly)
Avery: really…?
Gobo nods
Avery: i knew you could be nice, goldilocks! (,happy)
SCENE 7
Pico: that little idiot doesn't know how to use common sense and now we're in this mess (muttering under breath, angry)
scratch cat: don't fret we’ll find her..
giga: stop giving them false hope, scratch cat. we both know she doesn't want anything to do with this mission.
scratch cat: Giga, you need to stop assuming things about her. she may not be as irresponsible as you think.
Giga: whatever.
theres a flower that lands on Nanos nose
nano: ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (real sneeze)
Tera: bless you!
he sees a bunch of flowers on teras hair
nano: tera…you look so…pretty (dreamy)
giga rolls her eyes
giga: he's so obsessed and he's not even trying to hide it (mumbling, smug)
they walk for a while and see the sun begin to rise
Scratch cat: (sighs) its no use. lets just go home.
Pico: i hope you know that this is YOUR fault, Nano.
Nano: *sad noises*
SCENE 8
they get home
Tera: i cant believe we lost Avery..
Giga: i can believe it.
Nano: “the lights will go on once we know we can trust you” (mocking Giga) you SURE about that?!
Pico: Shut up, Nano. all of this is your fault.
Avery: what's going on? (curious, like nothing happened)
Nano and Tera: Avery!! (happy to see her)
Avery: Hi guys!
Pico: where in scratchlandia were you?!
Scratch Cat: yeah, we were looking everywhere for you! i was worried sick.
Avery: i was just at the Featured Project Exhibition. they had some really good artwork there!
Giga: in the middle of the night????
Nano: ugh, im going to bed.
