But the mod in question has different moderation, so they ask to not be mentioned. It says on their home page.

The problem is that the GitHub repository, as well as the website, mentions the modification that we're talking about. The front page for the mod says “Scratch Note: Please don't mention (mod name) on Scratch, we have different rules compared to Scratch!”
