Foreword
Foreword! Alright since we just had a mile-long conversation, you have probably picked this up, but just in case, I tend to ramble a lot! So anyway, be aware of that. Know that I am going to ramble. And toss in references you don’t understand! So be prepared for that, very much so.
Application
About Me:
Name, Age, & Pronouns- Hey! I’m Sasha (Mapleshade1111), and my pronouns are she/her. I’m twelve nearing thirteen.
Activity- My activity level is fairly high, with 8-9/10 daily and most of that spent talking with who I can or roleplaying (mostly roleplaying) because it’s a way to use my time that I consider entertaining and, being a perfectly selfish human being, I want to have what makes me entertained.
Ramblings About Self- I’m a tired, bored almost-8th grader who loves wasting her time (to be honest I consider everything I do that doesn’t revolve around school or housework to be a waste of my time) reading about living ideas that steal lives and sentient swords that pour smoke when unsheathed—in other words, fantasy books—and playing with little darlings when I’m lucky enough to win them from litters and savages I spin into roleplays myself, cloaked in whatever alias I choose to give them this time, when really, it’s the same cat, but with different faces, different personalities, different intentions. And then again, I go and ponder how terrible the next few years could go as well, when my fantasies don’t pull me out of that pessimistic spin.
About Kit:
Kit Applying For- I’m applying for Lavenderkit, the little darling, spun from the light of new dawn and glittering with morning dew. A perfect little queen to play. Beautiful, for sure!
Pronouns, Gender, & Sexuality- Lavender will remain female, pronouns she/her and dew/rain/dawn as neos. Dawn will be a demi-asexual little blossom.
Reason for Application & Specific Kit- I’m applying because my previous cat, Tsunamiflash, passed away. Applying for Lavender in specific because I’m a selfish, greedy human being (being serious here) who wants the things she considers adorable- but doesn’t everybody? I want another darling to roleplay, and out of Lavender and Nightjar, Nightjar is who most people are going to be going for. I want a kit that I can spin to be just as determined though quieter.
Longevity & Plans- I will keep Lavender alive as long as possible. No throwing her out of camp, no having her fight other cats, nabbing her a mentor who lends exp as a kit so she can train and become incredibly powerful and then grind hunting and fighting the daily predator if she stands a chance. So basically I’ll attempt to avoid every single thing that could result in her departure. My plans are to grind until I have a strong cat, and while I do really want a beautiful destroyer, she’s going to aim to be a good warrior, not necessarily a leader. Lavender will be like Tsu, except stronger and more determined. I won’t be wandering half-blind like before. And I’ll make her a wondrous cat. No more hiding in the underbrush for her, cringing from the rain.
Codewords- Hid them in the three paragraphs directly above this. Tis a habit, hiding them. Can’t let people catch on!
Personality
Positives
Adaptable- Amongst other things, Lavender will learn to adapt to tough situations and slip around challenges, due to MossClan-Guild conflicts and possible anger over the FlurryClan war, which will mean a lot of chaos in her life and things being tipped on their heads before she can slowly change to match them, resulting in quick adaptability. At least mentally.
Patient- Patience is a trait not many value and a trait Lavenderkit will likely grow to have due to Nightjar’s likely buzzing around and troublemaking, as well as any difficulties life may present in the forms of other cats, such as negotiations if she ever has to face those or difficult border patrols.
Trustworthy- And some cats have a habit of lying and stealing words from your jaws then spilling them to other cats or straight-up betraying you. Lavenderkit will be the opposite of that; Her prize value is her trustworthiness, the stability she will lend cats around her, that trust gathered from her eventual realization that trust is what binds a Clan together. That without it, everything would collapse.
Intelligent- While all cats are intelligent in some way, Lavenderkit will be quicker to learn things and pick up on concepts due to her intelligence, garnered from experiences- meaning this will develop mainly as an older apprentice and warrior, though hints will show in kithood and early apprenticeship.
Neutrals
Loyal- Lavenderkit will learn the concept of loyalty incredibly early on, taught that it is important to be loyal to your cats and never turn your back on them. She will grow with this trait building the majority of her early personality.
Assertive- She might not look like it at first, but Lavenderkit can be assertive when she needs to, speaking up with a calm, firm tone, doing it only when she seeks to break something important to other cats or when she is attempting to sway attention to a cat she believes should hold it.
Respectful- Likewise, she will respect those higher ranked than her and pay them the proper courtesy, taking care to treat them as they are due and remembering her place so as to not irritate them by making a move they think would mean that she is undermining them. That is part of her loyalty.
Negatives
Pessimistic- Despite things that will repeatedly show Lavender that the world is not dark, she will start to assume the worst from the world after she loses her first few cats. She will constantly ponder dark things, things that no cat should ponder, such as why the stars are out for them and why they would allow what happens to unfold. Why they bear witness without interfering.
Impulsive- And in addition to that, Lavender is impulsive, often choosing decisions without thinking about the immediate results if she believes it will help her Clan. She’ll take reprimand standing tall for when this surely gets her into trouble.
Quiet- Perhaps surprising for a kit, this little darling is quiet, keeping to herself and usually not going out of her way to get to know other cat. She does what she does quietly and when she does interact, she usually just does it so that she can become more skilled at something, not because Lavie really enjoys socializing.
Insecure- I only add this one because Lavie looks so sad and worried, like she worries she’s not enough. She’s constantly believing that she’s not enough for Nightjar and that she’ll never prove herself to her Clan, to thank them properly for taking care of her. This could also lead to depression and imposter syndrome! Also a mental spiral, heheh-
Nicknames:
Lavender- Tis her prefix! Her awesome prefix!
Lavie- I consider it adorable! This name would be for cats close to her, like Kismetfuzz and Nightjar, or a future mate and/or kits.
Afterword
Alright! I don’t think I rambled nearly as much as I usually do, but hey, still did a fair amount! Anyway, thanks for considering my application! Hope you liked it and you didn’t waste too many brain cells trying to read it. I usually do rereading it but hey not changing anything now! Hum, yes, this was a strangely short afterword. And little to no references. Weird. Zaijian! Goodbye, squad!

You’re gonna make it so hard to choose who gets Lavender omg-
But anyways, you’ll need one more positive trait for properly balanced traits, otherwise, the application is great!
