I have heard people talk about the “way back machine” to find old things on scratch. Can someone explain what it is and where to find it?

The Wayback Machine basically archives how websites looked at a particular point in time; you can find it at web.archive.org.

this is not a question about scratch

The way back machine is an archive where you can look at how pages of certain websites looked at that exact time. Scratch has no affiliation but there are a lot of archived pages of scratch on the archive.

The Wayback Machine is a website “time machine”, as you could say, as its only purpose is to see how websites looked like in the past.

You can also find websites that aren't findable anymore by common means, that is, if that website ever was archived on the Machine.

It is also very useful if you want to find references to stuff which you can't find through regular searching.
