That's right, no opacity option when you're drawing.

I want there to be a opacity so that we can make transparent sprites without having to use the “ghost” graphic effect.

when green flag clicked
set [ghost] effect to (no need for ghost when you have OPACITY IN DRAWING!)

This could be very useful if users want to make tower defense games or ghost-themed games.

Suggestions for the Scratch website or Scratch software go into “Suggestions”.

That said, it was pointed out earlier that opacity for the Scratch sprite editor is an known suggestion, I would recommend commenting on the pre-existing thread so the ST knows the community is still interested in it.
