720 x 960 Screen Size

720 Pixel by 960 Pixel Screen Size

My suggestion is a more precise Scratch screen size. Instead of a 360 x 480 pixel screen, the screen size is multiplied by a factor of two. Sprites could be directed with a lot more precision while still using whole numbers. Multiplying each axis by 2 still keeps the screen ratio 3:4. Each “go to” block input will just be multiplied by a factor of two.

If they suddenly change the size, all he projects will have empty space…

It's notated the other way around, 480x360, and anyways the Scratch screen is already 960*720 (Despite many statements that it's 480x360, it's actually 960*720 now* and rendered at half-size when you're not full-screen. This is why there is a noticable change in position when full screen is enabled and the
move (0.5) steps
block is used).

Just make the size change optional, and set all the screens to the current size as default.

They can even steal the code from Turbowarp.
I think.

Sprite positions are still rounded to the nearest “pixel” in rendering. Disabling the rounding would accomplish what you want, but if it's not done carefully it could subtly break older projects.
