i've been interested in joining tfc for a while now and when i saw this litter i couldn't resist! not only are the designs absolutely gorgeous, but the way the kits will be raised allow for interesting rp and relationship dynamics with the rest of their family.

i've been roleplaying for a little over a year now, my first rp being the silver shores in which i currently own constellationcaper of cavernclan.

-ˏˋfuture identityˊˎ-
reverie will at first identify with her birth gender, but will realize around early apprentice age that she experiences other genders, but never masculine ones, finding that the label genderfae fits her best, using she/any non masculine pronouns. she'll realize much later, probably young warrior age, that she doesn't feel romance, struggling much more to embrace the label of lesbian oriented aroace.

reverie's mind is always swirling with poetry, stories, colors, and songs. she thinks outside the box and finds solutions to problems that other cats may not have thought of. she also enjoys making things as a pastime.

(+) resourceful
this kit is good at working out solutions with the things around her, whether it be bits of information or scattered forest materials. her creative and outside the box nature contributes to her skills with solving problems using limited resources.

(+) supportive
reverie loves her friends dearly, supporting their dreams and goals as well as actively listening to them, checking in on them often, and making sure she shows up for them.

rev often feels those close to her's emotions as if they were her own, helping her understand some cats' motives, although she often thinks too hard about how her actions will make cats feel, causing her to have trouble setting boundaries.

vie reads into everything–perhaps a bit too much—searching for patterns and reasoning behind words or behaviors. she's very curious on why and how things work both in the clans and cats' relationships and the natural world, but her overthinking nature can cause her to interpret things in the wrong way or sense aggression in the smallest of gestures.

rev is rather unpredictable when it comes to situations that give her energy or drain her, as she fluctuates from introverted to extroverted regularly. one day a certain situation could leave vie feeling energized or even just satisfied, but the next day could leave her drained.

reverie is drawn toward tendencies that are unhealthy towards herself, whether it be physically or mentally, believing herself to be deserving of it. this fire is only fueled by swansonata's parenting style.

(-) people pleaser
ever does anything to avoid conflict and make sure other cats are happy. she has a lot of trouble setting boundaries and paying attention to her own emotions, so she ends up pushing them down to an unhealthy extent.

(-) closed off
despite being a big social butterfly, this kit holds her cards close to her chest, having great difficulty sharing or showing her feelings, thoughts, or personal experiences, this trait being a result of being untrusting towards cats because of the way she's being raised.

(-) impulsive
reveriekit often acts in the moment, running on emotion and adrenaline, not stopping to think about the consequences, especially when it comes to pulling socially or physically dangerous actions to prove her worth.

-ˏˋhow swan's treatment will effect themˊˎ-
swansonata's treatment will greatly influence many parts of reveriekit's personality and mental health. as a kit and apprentice, even into young warrior age, rev will highly respect and admire swansonata, seeing her as more of a teacher or higher power rather than her mother. the dangling threads of love from her mother will make reverie work as hard as she can to reach them, putting swan's demands first before her own mental health. with possibly getting often verbally berated or even neglected often, rev will allow swansonata and even her siblings to walk all over her in order to avoid conflict and possible harm. this abuse will also lead vie to believe that she isn't worth anything and her self destructive tendencies will increase. despite being a highly emotional cat and a social butterfly, she will begin to bottle up her emotions, pressing them deep down and becoming closed off in order to protect herself, but essentially emotionally isolating herself and making it impossible for her to express any discomfort without feeling like a burden. with her current situations combined with her creative and daydreaming nature, reveriekit uses stories and other art as a coping mechanism, whether it be venting her frustrations or inserting a version of herself into a better life.

-ˏˋfuture plansˊˎ-
Most of what i have planned for reveriekit is during her apprenticehood and young warriorhood; im not entirely sure about beyond that point, but that's the fun of rps! For kithood, reverie will try to have as much fun as possible from within swansonata's demanding presence, playing games and generally roughing around and making friends whenever they aren't looking, and during this time she will learn pretty early on that her emotions will put her in the way of conflict or getting shouted at, and she begins trying to carefully maintain the mask of happy-go-lucky and supportive. As an apprentice, with the added stress of a mentor and apprentice duties on top of executive dysfunction and her mother's expectations, reverie will become less social and more self-destructive in her work, not taking breaks or training extra to the brink of burnout. She'll become even more closed off, but still wearing the mask of a mostly fine cat. Early warriorhood will be similar, burnt out and masking most of her emotions trying not to burden others. As i've said, that's pretty much all i got for now lol ^^

random idea dump!!
-reverie is an extremely immersive daydreamer, sometimes to the point of almost feeling certain traits of her characters such as wings faintly, like phantom limbs.
-vie gets dirty a lot when she's playing out of swansonata's sight and mostly clean before she's seen by them again.
-she tries to avoid stimming or fidgeting around swansonata.
-she's very quiet in the presence of her mother as well.
-rev makes accessories out of random materials to sort of cosplay the characters she makes up.
-heavy sleeper, but routines trained her body to wake up at certain times.
-goes to sleep late, enjoying the peace and quiet of when nobody's awake, and she enjoys the sun.
-thinks like. a lot. mixed with her daydreaming, vi is always zoned out.
-rev thinks of her mother with a mixture of negative and positive. she thinks highly of swansonata, associating her with radiance, strength, and poise and strives to be like that, the main character of her story, but she's also fearful of them, feeling self-conscious and nervous around her. reverie strives to prove herself and craves an actual relationship with her mother and thinks her emotions are making her weaker.
-i have a plan to rp her surroundings with detail in both her fantasies and the real world as vi is a kit, just the fantasies in detail when she's burnt out or using them for escapism, and then back to both when she's appreciating the small things in the real world or when she's recovering.
-she'll have a ton of characters that are all based on herself one way or another, even the villains. some of them are unnamed, some don't even have personalities, but she tries her hardest to think of lore for each one, giving them a place in a story or creating whole new ones for them. she projects and lives vicariously through them.
-rev longs for a close relationship resembling romance, but is unable to feel it, so she's likely to get into a relationship with someone close to her if they ask despite not reciprocating the feelings in the exact same way as the other.
-reverie will also keep trying to convince herself that she shouldn't be affected by the was swansonata raises her, that her negative emotions are not real and something she'll grow out of, leaving her envying her own characters and their stories, longing for her emotions to be recognized and validated even though it's virtually impossible with the titanium mask she puts up.

child abuse and neglect can cause many problematic outcomes in a child's life, including but not limited to psychological and behavioral effects. abuse and neglect in childhood increases chances of certain mental health conditions such as depression, adhd, ptsd, etc., as well as ineffective emotional regulation skills, problematic peer relationships, and dissociation. it can also lead to more risky or aggressive behavior in adolescence and adulthood. children who have been neglected or abused are also more likely to be rebellious against authority.

adhd (aka attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) is a disorder that is commonly split into several categories, the main three being inattentive, hyperactive, and combined. people with predominantly inattentive adhd are more likely to be categorized as “dreamers” or “scatterbrained”, getting distracted, bored, and losing things often. People with predominantly hyperactive adhd are often categorized as “on the go” or “bouncing off the walls”, and are more impulsive and impatient, talking often and feeling restless. the combined type is a more combination of these types. reveriekit will have the combined type.
most people with adhd also struggle with sensory issues, such as getting over or understimulated easily. many will use repeated voluntary or involuntary actions or sounds known as stimming to help regulate emotions or help with sensory discomfort. adhders also have intense interests known as hyperfixations, amplified emotions, forgetfulness, and a higher chance of other conditions like anxiety or depression.

Reverie was deeply lost in her brain. Colors and stories and metaphors swirled and mixed in her mind, her eyes distant and star-filled. A rush of wings, the roar of a waterfall, a haunting melody, the light of the stars, the tales of old gods that her mother had told her all tumbling together to create a story of fantasy, epic battles and magical creatures only seen in legends. The starry night illuminated the shining spray of the waterfall, turning them into flying diamonds and painting the torrent with silver streaks. Dense, silent trees lined the sandy banks of the river. A feathery-winged cat paced nervously along the banks, her claws gouging out chunks of muddy sand. They had a mission they had to succeed at. One that involved deities and creatures never seen before by the outside world. The cat paused in their stride and stared into the thick forest. Why were they so silent? Why was there no calls of animals or rustling of leaves, the winged feline thought to themselves. Putting their fears aside, they crouched and leaped to take off and…. Reverie blinked as the first rays of dawn slid through the cracks in the shadowclan camp. The winged cat and their mission of gods and monsters dissolved like mist in the sun. How long had she been daydreaming? It could have been seconds or hours for all the cat could tell. With a yawn and a stretch, Vee began to head to her nest, her eyes on the ground, still lost in thought about… everything really. Why did her heart long for the made up world inside her head, where everything leads to peril and distress for all of the made up cats living in it? Entering her den and curling up tight in her nest of moss, soft, yet worn and not springy anymore, Reverie let out a deep sigh, her heart aching. She hated how emotional she got when she was tired. Mother would never approve. Mother. Vee sighed again, rose tinted images of a possible actual mother-daughter relationship with Swansonata filling her head as she closed her eyes to slip into yet another fantasy.
