↷ meet the applicant ..
⤷ hey lovely people !! i'm cherie, though i do also go by ally and ( tentatively ) rue !! i'm your average artist and tfcrp roleplayer who fights procrastination daily while doodling my characters and singing songs !!
⤷ some of my favorite things include singing, acting, dancing, drawing, and snowboarding ! i'm no professional at any of those, but i'd consider myself pretty good at them! i do quite a lot of drama and musical theater, and my drama team actually has a show on june 8th ! i'm getting better at snowboarding, i can do toe turns now so yippee !! <3

↷ roleplaying experience ..
⤷ i've been in the roleplay community for a long time, the most notable of the rps include tss and gens ! i've played quite a few high-ranks in ( most now d3ad ) rps, some of which include honeypaw ( unknown ( i can't remember the rp name ), mca ), crysanthemumflight ( taos, deputy ), candleblush ( gs, deputy ), and akoyaflutter ( fidelis ad mortem, black guard / council ) !!

⤷ juni is my first tfcrp character !! she's overall very friendly but not all too trusting, haha <3 her closest friend and only living family is her sister ( silkenshine, rped by @DotOscar ) who she's very close to ! she's overall kind of what'd you'd expect from someone's first tfcrp character haha-

⤷ i'm a highly active person ! i'm often on for most of the day ( about a 9/10 ), though it does tend to drop to a 7/10 on the weekends </3 do usually expect me to be on almost daily though ! <3

⤷ i must admit, while i was unsure for a moment whether or not to apply as i do not have experience with roleplaying fully blind cats ( i have tentative experience with half-blindness ), however this little sweet baby immediately took my heart, and in the end, here i am to apply !! <3

↷ identity ..
⤷ woekit will stay cisgender for the entirety of her life, however will use the pronouns she/rain/it ( she/her - kithood, she/rain - apprenticeship, she/rain/it - adulthood and beyond ) !! she'll also be neptunic ! <3

↷ longetivity ..
⤷ i intend to keep woe for a minimum of 45 moons !! living with blindness can be tricky and i do understand that she may not be able to live for very long due to her condition, however i will absolutely do my best to keep her alive for a long time <3

↷ first impressions ..
⤷ when you first see her, she blends into the dark, or stands out in the light, whatever time it may be. she looks shy and quiet, like she doesn't want to talk to anyone. her gaze seems to look past you, into something beyond comprehension. though, when she senses your presence, she'll most likely turn away and find her way back to her mother.

⤷ sweet ⤑ kind, caring and loving
⤷ woe is a sweet little kitty, always listening to the woes and sob stories of the other clan cats with an everlasting sympathetic gaze. you can always expect snuggles and reassuring words from this sweet little kit.

⤷ gentle ⤑ calm, nurturing, and compassionate
⤷ woe is very gentle darling, always taking care of those she cares about. in a bad situation, you can always trust that she will get the situation under control and all cats involved will become calmed and soothed.
❝ there, there, darlings…i will help you… ❞

⤷ soft-spoken ⤑ talks quietly and gently, often soothingly
⤷ woe is a very soft-spoken darling. her voice rarely goes above a gentle murmur, always very soothing and gentle. when she speaks, it's always wise to listen no matter the situation, for she stands out when speaking in a crowded area due to her contrast in tone from the usual.
❝ i may speak silently, but i only wish to heal and soothe… ❞

⤷ dainty ⤑ small, delicate and lovely
⤷ woe is one of the daintiest kitties you ever did meet. her size may add to this, though what you truly notice is her soft prancing. she moves like a prima ballerina, elegant and graceful on her pawpads, far more than you would expect from your average clan cat.
❝ life is a dance, one that i truly enjoy even when i can't see the steps… ❞

⤷ woe is truly an optimistic little kitty, always looking on the bright side. if something ever looks hopeless, you can always trust woe to make the situation brighter and more hopeful. woe's positive outlook is the way she views the world, even in the darkest moments.
❝ there's always a good side to every bad side, even when it doesn't feel like it… ❞

⤷ shy ⤑ apprehension, lack of comfort, or awkwardness when others are around
⤷ woe is a shy little princess, not often interacting with others. she'll usually stick around her mother and refuse to speak to those she doesn't know. her gaze is often turned away from that of other cats, so as to not engage.

⤷ dreamy ⤑ imaginative, idealistic, and often spends time daydreaming or fantasizing
⤷ woe is quite the dreamy little kit, with her head always in the clouds. her eyes, though unseeing, seem to see into your soul ( though that's just by chance ), or look into the sky as though seeing something no one can.

⤷ distrusting ⤑ considers many to be suspicious or untrustworthy
⤷ woe is very distrusting, keeping her secrets close to her chest. she refuses to tell most anyone anything at all, especially the things she considers secrets ( which is most anything someone tells her ).

⤷ paranoid ⤑ easily assumes others have malicious intent
⤷ woe is a rather paranoid kitty, being very jumpy whenever someone sneaks up on her, which is quite often. she always checks behind her shoulder, even if she can't really see anything.
❝ please, please don't scare me… ❞

⤷ overprotective ⤑ strong need for security and stability
⤷ woe is very overprotective, especially concerning her loved ones. even if she's not very good at it due to her being unable to see, she'll often inch herself in front of them as though her tiny frame would protect their ( highly often ) larger one.

⤷ forgive me chat i have NO ideas atm lol- i was thinking about mostly that woe would probably begin to hate her blindness before coming to terms with it as an adult? most plots may come up as woekit grows older <3

⤷ opalelegy .. ❝ opal, ele ❞ ⤑ woe will love opal, though will be massively frightened whenever she leaves her. she'll cling to her a lot, often following her out of camp even when she's not allowed to and being terrified when she's not with her. she'll slowly be able to be alone more often as she grows, but will remain with opal most of the time.
⤷ sorrowkit .. ❝ sori, soso ❞ ⤑ woe will love sorrow with all her heart, enjoying his talks and often going to him for advice or to describe what the world looks like, enjoying his imaginative descriptions and will often ask him if she looks okay enough when preparing for a ceremony, since she can't see herself. she'll adore him, and will often believe he could do no wrong.

⤷ retinal dysplasia ( blindness )
↷ what is it ?
⤷ retinal dysplasia is the abnormal development of the retina ( the retina is the part of your eye that senses / processes light and sends the signal to your brain. )
↷ what causes it ?
⤷ retinal dysplasia is caused by trauma, genetic defect, or damage occurring while in the wombat ( iykyk ). ( in woe's case it would be due to either a genetic defect or damage c: )
↷ how does it affect her ?
⤷ because woe cannot see, she will rely primarily on her senses of sound, smell and touch when navigating the world ! her other senses ( in addition to the three listed before ) will also be heightened / strengthened due to her use of them. she'll be able to hear things more easily so as to locate things, and she often twitches her ear to show when she's listening. she'll be able to smell things better as well to locate food and differentiate smells of plants and cats, best shown as she is easily able to sense when someone is approaching, unless she is overwhelmed with other smells. her sense of touch will be heightened so as to be able to move around, and often walks by brushing her paw against the ground to test it before putting weight down so as to keep herself safe. since she won't be able to see, she'd be a very poor fighter and hunter, as she is easily overwhelmed by the sounds and smells of the territory to be able to figure out the location of her opponent, whether it be prey, another cat, or a dangerous animal.
