3D on scratch, And how it's professionally accomplished
I've been updating the various technical articles on the Scratch wiki.I agree. It's a really polished looking page. This post is a bit older now, and it can serve as a very basic introduction, but I strongly recommend the Wiki over it if someone is actually interested for more!
Especially of interest to this topic is: https://en.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/Three-Dimensional_Projects
BamBozzle also contributed part of it, and I've been in contact with a few others doing 3D on Scratch.
A lot of the articles are in a really poor state but I hope to see it improved because the format of a wiki is more useful I think. Plus it's safe for Scratch and has existed for years as an information source.

I can't believe how far Scratchers have been making 3d projects.
Like we literally got 3d Lego games before (Game that ends with 6).
I made my first 3d project in form of a raycaster.

3D on scratch, And how it's professionally accomplished
Hi guys, it's my first time posting to the scratch forum (at least in my memory)
I have started dipping my toes into rendering in scratch recently and I have been thinking about an alternative of the classical method of rendering triangles: splitting triangles into 2 right angled triangle stamps by the altitude
In my testing I see that it operates about 25% faster than the one here and I want to know if this method is known/attempted since I don't see any results in my searches for it.
It has the drawback of the triangles being slightly imperfect, but I still want to know what people that have more experience in this think of this option
