Scratch Wiki accounts aren't paid, so you should be fine.

I'm not certain, but that looks a little like their code for inserting the correct username into the template messed up to me - placeholders in templates very often use dollar signs. I don't think you have to pay; if you click the link you should be fine.

Try requesting an account on the English server, might be a bug with German server (replace the “de” before .scratch-wiki with en). Other than that I'm not too sure. No, i didn't.

This actually seems like the most likely thing to me, rather than them requesting $2.00 from you to make an account. I'm not certain, but that looks a little like their code for inserting the correct username into the template messed up to me - placeholders in templates very often use dollar signs. I don't think you have to pay; if you click the link you should be fine.

Yeah, I agree- it's more likely that someone simply broke a placeholder, probably for the Scratch account that it was requested for. This actually seems like the most likely thing to me, rather than them requesting $2.00 from you to make an account. It also seems strange that the German wiki would be selling things for United States Dollars.

This turned out to just be a translation error, and has now been fixed.
