Why on the KDE Store when I install "Scratch" It installs scratch 1.0?
Hi, I'm running Ubuntu with KDE Plasma on it. I go to the Ubuntu built in store (Also known as snap store" and see the modern scratch logo. But when I download, I get presented with a 2.0 (possibly 1.0) scratch UI. I am aware it might not go under this topic, but since it seems the scratch app on snap isn't updated by scratch itself I thought I would ask.

I think your Ubuntu software is outdated, no space, or its just a mistake, just use the site, and maybe if you have your phone, try downloading it there

this is because debian's (and inherently ubuntu's) repos haven't added any post-1.4 versions of scratch to the repos. however, you can install turbowarp from snapcraft which is a better editor. if you want vanilla scratch, you can just download flatpak then add flathub, then you can install scratch from there.
