how to do posts
I'm not really a new scratcher because I've been on the website for 16 or 17 months but I'm pretty new to this topics and posts thing. I have a few questions about posts like what are the differences and the similarities between it and topics and are these posts kinda like community post on youtube and other questions like that just if anyone has a lot of experience with posts or topics just let me know

how to do posts
Hey, welcome to the forums! Here's a quick guide that (I hope) will be helpful!
Feel free to ask if you've got any questions/I wasn't clear on something.
Discuss - the main page of the forums. This is where you can see all of the categories and change your signature, along with other things.
Most of the other forums have a little caption by then that says what they are. Ex. the caption for this forum is:
There are a lot of rules-but don't worry if you accidently break one! Either a moderator or another Scratcher may come over to your post and explain it for you. The general website rules do apply, though: follow the Community Guidelines (and be respectful!)
If you'd like to learn more about a specific forum, you can always click it and go to the first couple posts. They should have a pin icon by them. These are called “stickies,” and they're very helpful guides. You can also ask a question in the forum I linked above for anything Scratch forum/Scratch related.
Forums are the general category, a user creates a “topic” (yours is “how to do posts”) and posts are each individual text thing. This is a post, and so is the one you just created!
Thanks for reading this, and feel free to ask if you've got any more questions about the forums!

A forum to welcome New Scratchers to the Scratch community. If you are new to Scratch, please post to say hello! Some general ones that are good to know that I personally find very helpful for Scratch-related things:
