right on the 10th of February 2025 (today as of writing this) the root project for one of my remix chains was taken down, i no-longer have the root credit, to help give more credit i think we should now ban remix chains completely by adding a new report option about remix chains then the team will take down all projects in the remix tree including the root. a new way to do collabs will have to be implemented first, note that the last remix in the chain will remain but in a non-remix collab project instead.

no, you have to report any remix chains you make but they won't be prohibited (you'll have to report them instead)

What about when someone remixes a remix, is that inherently bad? What about when the remixes involved are all legitimate remixes with time and effort put into them? Why should a group of scratchers be punished for remixing based exclusively on how far down the remix chain a single remix is? Also, root projects are taken down based off the contents of the root project, the remix’s are moderated separately, so your project got taken down for a different reason.

Even a Scratch Team member made a remix chain project, not all remix chains must be spam, a lot of them require creativity.
