Also, your new username cannot contain “.”, and the username “MrBlack” or “Mr_Black” are very, VERY likely taken already.

they are indeed, taken.
mr-black is also taken.
however, there is also a trick to get around this. replace the L with an uppercase i, e.g. Mr_bIack
