Use the bitmap editor, that works good enough.
(you press convert to bitmap n your new sprite.

Create a new costume or backdrop, click “Convert to bitmap”, and zoom in a bunch.

Then set the paintbrush's size to 2 (half-pixels exist, because bitmap is rendered at twice the stage size), and start drawing.

You may want to change the size of the sprite to be able to clearly see what you draw on the stage- use the

set size to ()

block.
