☄ Backstory

To start off this story, some background is needed. Thor’s parents were circus performers for a French circus.
Madame, faer mother, was born among a trio as prized show cats. The trio included her, Élégance, and Jolie. One day after a couple shows, they, or at least Élégance and Jolie, caught the attention of one of the owners of the circus. After a show the owner came forward and offered to buy Élégance and Jolie. Madame, knowing French, could discern a few words from her time among twolegs and was instantly overcome with jealousy and disappointment in her own looks and life. Luckily for her, the owner of the trio convinced the circus owner to buy all three due to the fact they were bonded. The trio was taken and became sort of cat acrobats, known for their looks and acts. Still, part of Madame remembered the incident of the owner choosing her siblings and desired to push her standards on anything related to her.
Unlike Madame, Gaffe, their father, was actually born to the circus. At first the owner planned on selling him and his littermate, Buddy. But when they saw Gaffe doing funny and silly tricks, they decided to keep him . He became a clown of sorts and quickly became the most popular animal attraction.
The pair met shortly after Madame was brought to the circus. Gaffe was instantly enchanted by her beauty, but Madame? Not so much. But soon Madame realized just how popular he was and thought up something. Gaffe and her kits would be perfect: pretty and popular. This caused Madame to pretend to like Gaffe back. They eventually became mates.

This is when Platypus comes into the mix. Platypus was born in the first litter, as well as Pitre and Paillase. Fae was born as the youngest and almost 24 hours after the rest of their siblings. Madame gave birth to Pitre and Paillase and viewed the as decent, even leaning on the side of good. She was a little disappointed they looked like Gaffe but not much. She went to sleep after in order to rest. She was awoken by pains, and eventually gave birth to Platypus. She passed out afterwards and didn’t have the chance to see her latest child. Next morning she finally saw Platypus. She was disgusted, too disgusted to give the kit a name. She didn’t understand how she could have given birth to such an ugly cat. She refused to let the kit nurse, which resulted in Jolie and Élégance caring for fae. Madame accepted it, at least for a time. When the kit was half a moon, she couldn’t stand it anymore. She picked the small kit up in the middle of the night and brought her to a nearby cliff edge. And, well, she dropped fae. She left and never went back to the cliff.
Platypus was falling. Fae’s face slammed into a side of the cliff, resulting in her passing out. Luckily a river saved fae. For a day, they were floating on a patch of weeds. A loner, Baba, found her and dragged her out. They dried the kit off and took her under their wing. They cared for them greatly and even gave them a name, Platypus. They taught the kit English as a second language on top of their usual spoken French. One day Baba went off to get some food and left Platypus alone. Thor wandered off in an effort to find a place to give a prayer to her gods. Fae got lost and desperately tried to find her way back. Sadly, they never did. She wondered on her own for about a moon, using her skills they learned from Baba. At the age of five moons, they were rather malnourished as a kit surviving on her own. Fae was found by a Thunderclan patrol and brought back to Thunderclan. There she made a new life for faeself.

☄ Religion and Beliefs

Platypus has some rather unique beliefs. She believes in a system of faer own gods. Most of the gods are fuzzy to her, but a few major ones include Récolte , Défier , Gentille , and Forte . All of the gods are based on faint memories of her own family. Récolte is Madame, Défier is Gaffe, Gentille is Jolie, and Forte is Élégance.
Thor also believes to be a fallen god. She believes that fae was cast down from the sky by the gods. They do things to try to get the gods to bring fae back up to her home among the clouds.
