If you get the rays backrop and convert it to bitmap and back to vector, than scratch crashes.

Probably Scratch can’t handle all the pixels when converting the bitmap image to vector?

This is a known issue, but it's good that you made a topic. Maybe do some more testing and see if it happens with others. It may be because it can't re-render it correctly.

If I recall correctly, this is documented in the Scratch Wiki as a way to crash scratch. Wiki isn't loading right now, I will edit with the article link once it does.
