How to Report a Bug

Introduction
What is this forum?
The Bugs and Glitches forum is a place for Scratchers to report bugs and glitches occurring on the Scratch website and project editor.
How do I report a bug here?
To report a bug, go to the Bugs and Glitches forum and click the purple New Topic button. Then, write a good explanation of your bug.
Make sure to check the List of Bugs to look and see if anyone else has reported your bug before you post your topic.
Do not post bug reports on this guide!
Can I post here if my project has a bug?
No. Please post in Help with Scripts instead.

Creating a Topic
Legend:
✓ Perfect example
? Not the best, but acceptable
X Might be acceptable, but not recommended
⊘ Definitely not allowed
Subject
Your subject should explain the bug in about 3 or 5 words. Don't go into too much detail as that will unnecessarily lengthen the subject.
✓ Search is not working
? Please fix the bug where if you search for anything like “scratch”, it does not load.

Also, remember to follow the community guidelines in your subject.

The message is the first post of a topic - what people see when they view the topic. The message should describe in detail the bug, while keeping a polite tone. Here are some examples of what a Scratcher would write in a message.

My browser / operating system: Nonexistux, Earthdog X00.0, No Flash version detected
Hi. I have noticed that when I search any query up, such as “scratch”, the search function does not work, and no image pops up. If there is a workaround, please tell me. Thanks!
