How do i get famous?

Ive been on scratch for 4 years passing from account to account. And ive never gotten famous neither featured. Idk why i always get 2 views at my projects. Ive spent 190 hours on one of my projects, its called splat it. And i never got at least 15 views… i try putting my games in studios but people ignore it. I try to make good stuff but people stick to animations. And here is the question.. How do i get famous?

Honestly, put a lot of effort into your projects. People can really tell when you do. Don't be afraid to spend months or even years working on them.

That, but also it’s kind of being in right place at the right time.

For example: You make friends with a user who then becomes famous, and then you make a good project and that friend recommends the project to all their followers.

Also, (to OP) unless you are enjoy making the project, it doesn’t make sense to work for years on a project cause it’ll probably be on trending for about a month.

  • Put effort in your projects
  • Advertise in studios that fit the project's topic or the show and tell forum
  • Properly advertise In other parts of the website
  • Be active and kind in other parts of the community

A way you can get more views on your projects is by having a thumbnail and art style that's appealing and stands out. Having gameplay that is fun and satisfying is also important in having a good game. It takes a lot of effort, skill, learning, and growth to make projects that are really cool.

I agree with @alpha_ape_13 and how you can be part of a community and interact with others to let people know about you. The most important part of making a game is the creativity and passion you put into it! Don't let failure stop you from achieving your goals. If you want to know how improve at something then you can always talk to me and I can try to help you. :3

I think something I noticed is that you are including the version of your projects in the title at the very beginning. This means that less of the real title is showing, meaning less people will know what the project is actually called. I would recommend just putting this version at the top of the instructions/credits. People don't usually come back to old projects to see a new updated version.

Scratch isn't about fame- nah just kidding, I'm not gonna say what every OG scratcher says, here is my advice, just make projects that you put love and care in, my ARG projects I put care in, and you should too.

I think in the end all that really matters is that you enjoy what you create. Fame is simply a nice convenience. (does that make me one of those OG scratchers now that I just said that? lol) :

Yeah, that's the point in scratch, I enjoy creating my ARG projects!

As long as you're enjoying what you're creating, popularity is the most important.
If you're looking to gain some more attention, I recommend:
-advertising in studios which allow it
-showing off projects in the “Show and Tell” forum
-participating in SDS's, and quality > quantity.
Keep in mind that, at the end of the day, Scratch isn't about popularity but about building community.

Here's what I found, from my personal experience
  • Help out in the community
  • Be kind to others
  • Make a project for the SDS; You might have a chance at getting front paged

How do i get famous?

it's pretty easy, here are the steps
- create a project
- but add to the description that if someone likes it, you will like it too, or to make it more attractive you can instead of more likes
-make a studio about it and start inviting people, then the likes will start pouring in
-then advertise

if you have more followers it is enough
-support F4F
-ask people about F4F, but not too quickly so it's not spam

To get famous i would recommend going to see what scratchers like on the explore page. Then try to make something similar(not like remix it or anything…well if you want to then). Also try to get involved in Scratch studios BUT NO ADVERTISING (unless the project description says its ok or doesn't say anything about that matter) like i made a trash project but posted it on the scratch studio and I got 7 views and i only spent like 10 minutes on the trash. Also since this post is famous plz check out https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1120169173/

Please keep in mind that Scratch is NOT about becoming famous. It is about the coding experience.

Becoming famous only depends on how hard you work on your project, and how well you present it to studios, and some close friends.
