Smooth Zoom in

Does anyone know how to make a smooth zooming in frame? Would like it to be smooth, but last about five seconds. I've seen operators used commonly to make games like clicker games more smooth, so could the same concept be applied for this?

You need to do this ↓
define Set size to (size)
repeat until <(size) = (round (size::looks))>
change size by (((size::looks) - (size)) / [10])
end

Sorry, there was an error in the scratchblocks. I’ve updated it now.

Ok

It didn't work. Maybe I made a mistake in the code?

define Set size to (size)
<[size] = [150]> --I couldn't get the original code
change size by (((size) - (size)) / (10))

I made a mistake in the scratchblocks. It should be like this. I think it should work now, however, I have had some problems with code like this recently.

define Set size to (size)
repeat until <(size) = (round (size::looks))>
change size by (((size::looks) - (size)) / [10])
end

Wait a second, I’ve found out what’s wrong. It should be:
((size::myblocks) - (size::looks))

Instead of

((size::looks) - (size::myblocks)

I can’t use scratchblocks lol. They look the same. Baisically switch the size(looks) with size(myblocks).

Here's a simple zoom-in effect that doesn't require much work:
change size by (((150) - (size)) / (4))

You can change the size change (The first input) and the speed (the second input) to make it to your desire

To add onto CoderPro915, the first input is the goal size, and the second is 1/x(x is input) of the way there, so if it's 4, then it reaches 25% of goal from current size.

You don't need a repeat until block, you can just run the block in a forever loop:
when green flag clicked
forever
Set size to (Target Size).
end
(It can have other code in it)
