George Washington Carver Project-Help
I'm making a George Washington Carver Project, so I made this topic. I need a bit of help.
1. I uploaded a picture of George Washington Carver, but how do you make it bigger so that it covers the whole screen? (I'm making the thumbnail.)
2. How do you make a certain background the thumbnail?

you can just resize it, right? 1. I uploaded a picture of George Washington Carver, but how do you make it bigger so that it covers the whole screen? (I'm making the thumbnail.)
whenever you save your project, scratch sets the project's thumbnail to whatever's currently on-screen. to use this feature to make a thumbnail, you can make a sprite for the thumbnail and put this code inside: 2. How do you make a certain background the thumbnail?
since scratch gets rid of all effects when the project stops, this ghost effect block gets “undone”, making the sprite visible again and allowing you to save the project to set it as your thumbnail

What ametrine_ said should work, but if you're resizing it in scratch, it's going to have pixels clearly visible, especially if you are enlarging it. If what I'm saying makes sense, I would suggest to crop the photo outside of Scratch then import it so it has smaller/less noticeable pixels. I use the size 1000 pixels by 700 (for my drawings), but Scratch uses a scale much smaller than that (480 by 360).

I can't resize it.
Thanks for the blocks! I'll use that code!
