I don't know if this has been suggested before but

it would be WAY easier if you could select multiple block in the script editor

this is something you can do in the costume editor when you select many pictures at a time

i wonder why we can't do the same in script editor?

when you painstakingly make a bunch of code in one sprite and want to transfer all of that code into 3 other sprites, but you can only move 1 stack at a time… and we're talking like 20-30 stacks to move here. plz fix, Scratch devs.

when i try alot of stuff and it leaves a huge mess, then i need to clean up. it takes FOREVER to do

if u r moving blocks from one sprite to a new sprite, just duplicate the other sprite and change it costumes
but if ur rearranging like i am, i have no clue what to do, cause i have over 1500 blocks to move

Anyway, I'm not sure how this would be implemented considering that you can't really select blocks already. I don't see many practical purposes for this, though it could fix some of the ambiguity issues that newer users face (i.e. “delete” gets rid of all blocks below the block you are deleting). Considering that selecting blocks was never really a part of Scratch's design, this would take a huge overhaul to add. Would it be worth it? Maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You press a special unused button to activate selection.

Shift activates selection until not pressed, and CAPS LOCK locks selection and unlocks it.

I think the lesson this situation is trying to teach us is… Don't copy-paste your code. A good idea would be to reengineer your program into functional components, defined once and utilized where needed. Reuse, not repeat.

Support! Pasting multiple blocks into a new sprite is a pain especially if they're smaller blocks.
