What's .pmp? Is it an SB3 file? If then yes,but you cannot share projects made with modified scratch 3.0 editors on scratch website. If you try,it might not work or crash.

No, you can rename “.pmp” to “.sb3” to do this, though if there are features not included in Scratch, then you'll have to replace blocks with workarounds. no, there's not.

That's all you can do,but as Windows warning you,if you rename the file extension of a file that's not SB3 file to .sb3,it might be unusable.
This is manual.

It works fine, Windows just says that because usually different file extensions mean different purposes or programsNo, you can rename “.pmp” to “.sb3” to do this, though if there are features not included in Scratch, then you'll have to replace blocks with workarounds. no, there's not.

Okay. And no,it's not because of what you said,it's because of safety reasons,if a user were to accidentally rename the file extension of a file to something like .png, then it might become unusable and you can't open it using image viewers.

Windows warns you whenever you change the file extension, no matter what you change it to or from. It's kind of annoying that there's no way to disable it.It works fine, Windows just says that because usually different file extensions mean different purposes or programsNo, you can rename “.pmp” to “.sb3” to do this, though if there are features not included in Scratch, then you'll have to replace blocks with workarounds. no, there's not.

Yeah,it's annoying, however Windows is always right,If you accidentally try to change a file extension of a file to something incompatible like .png,it might become unusable.

No, in this case, it is wrong because “.pmp” files were based on “.sb3” files, so if the only blocks you have are from Scratch, then there's nothing actually incompatible (you can replace anything that doesn't work in Scratch with workarounds before downloading the .pmp file). Also, the creator of this topic said something suggesting that he wanted this topic to be closed earlier. Yeah,it's annoying, however Windows is always right,If you accidentally try to change a file extension of a file to something incompatible like .png,it might become unusable.
