I rooted my Motorola G-series phone and installed LineageOS on it. I recommend it, very cool. Might be worth getting to avoid this, anyways

Sometimes I wonder what the “unlock OEM” button does on developer options.
Not gonna touch it on my one and only phone though, unless if I fancy backing up everything I had there first.

It basically lets you at the firmware and OS

Posting from my android with crdroid, I got this in 2020 and somehow it can perfectly run android 14
My browser / operating system: Android Linux 14, Chrome 120.0.6099.193, No Flash version detected
