For starters, it appears to be a song with inappropriate lyrics.

why is “despacito” marked as nfe?
i think my opinion may sound silly but theres no point in nfe’ing despacito since most people who search it don’t know spanish For starters, it appears to be a song with inappropriate lyrics.

i search up vocaloid despite most of them being Japanese and i don’t know Japanesei think my opinion may sound silly but theres no point in nfe’ing despacito since most people who search it don’t know spanish For starters, it appears to be a song with inappropriate lyrics.
non-spanish speaker may like despacito and may have read the lyrics to know it’s inappropriate

It's really not a kid friendly song. Thankfully my family doesn't speak Spanish but remember that a lot of people do

why is “despacito” marked as nfe?
i searched up what despacito meant and it's about a man wanting to make out with a girl that he likes or something (idk)
so it's nfe'd for that reason
so it's nfe'd for that reason

why is “despacito” marked as nfe?
I’d assume Despacito is censored because it’s a popular song, similarly in reasoning to how many music artist’s names (eg Taylor Swift, Lil Nas X) are NFEd to deter people from looking for music sharing projects. It has less to do with inappropriate content than you’d think: While the song itself is definitely inappropriate, the word despacito itself just means “slowly” in Spanish, so it’d confuse a lot of Spanish speaking users if it was deemed “inappropriate”.

This is wrong. The title of “Despacito” in English is “Slowly”, and trust me, you'll “slowly” find out how inappropriate the song is in English. why is “despacito” marked as nfe?
actually, I think it more accurate translates to “a little slowly”
It has nothing to do with the music video but the contents of the song itself The music video which it is most known for isn't suitable for small kids i believe

It isn't the word directly, it's if you are mature enough to understand what it's really inferring. But yeah, the meanings of it are certainly inappropriate for scratch, therefore (although many don't know spanish scratch is for all cultures and some do know) it is banned. (#11)No, you guys are wrong - a lot of songs and song artists are censored to discourage music sharing projects. This is wrong. Perhaps both are valid reasons? But I'm pretty sure the lyrics are the main reason it's NFE'd(#14)It isn't the word directly, it's if you are mature enough to understand what it's really inferring.
