Terms Of Service

By using our services, you agree to the Terms Of Services and the Rules. This includes ordering, partnering, working and applying for staff, among others.
All of our staff are volunteers, they do not get paid. Please do not rush or shout at them for making mistakes or not completing the orders on time.
We, Code City reserve the right to reject any user and any possible orders for any reason, or for no reason at all. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user's ability to use our services.
Staff may be fired, promoted or demoted at any time with or without warning and for any reason.
We will never use any real world, virtual or Scratch-hosted currencies and will never require payment in any form, ever. Do not ask us to join your made-up currency.
Do not always expect us to do complex work and do not expect it within an unreasonable time frame. A Full Game with advanced physics and lots of animations within 4 days is not reasonable and the order will be rejected.
Banned users cannot order. There is no public list, but we know who regardless.
There is no need to double post, although we will not mind if you do as it is normally a bug on the Scratch servers end.
You have no right to close this topic. Even if the topic is abandoned, I request that it be left open, and any necroposts should be ignored.
Please do not attempt to use evil kumquats to attack this shop. You will fail and your rights to use our services will be suspended

1 - Forms, Business and Other

1.1 : Always use the forms to order, join, review or partner with this shop.
1.1.1 : An exception can be made when it is a federation. They can use their own forums
1.2 : Customers and staff have to have respect.
1.3 : Deadlines need to be timelines. “Sooner rather then later” is a unacceptable deadline
1.4 : Deadlines in order forms start when the order is submitted or the next available day if it is a shop holiday.
1.5 : Codeword: Tea

2 - Shop Things/Ordering
2.1 : Show some respect. We are human, and deserve to be treated fairly.
2.2 : No spam/advertising is permitted.
2.3 : Be descriptive in your order and provide as much detail as you can, vague bits of information will not help us.
2.4 : You may only have one order at the same time.
2.5 : Users must have been on Scratch for 2 weeks and must have at least 15 forum posts to order here.
2.5 : Please do not bump unless you are staff, and do not try to act like staff, or tell others their order is wrong.
2.6 : We don't accept orders done on another person's behalf. Additionally, no fake orders are allowed.
2.7 : You should leave a review after your order is done.

3 - Staff
3.1 : Staff must follow the rules in sections 1 and 2
3.2 : Staff may be given a strike if they break these rules. The rules with a * are mandatory to follow or a strike will be given:
- Respond to activity checks*
- Be nice and friendly*
- Complete orders
- Take responsibility, don't blame other for your mistakes*
- And bump daily, if not completed

4 - Manager Elections
4.1 : Terms End After 3 Months Since The Previous Election Or If The Manager Resigns, Gets Sacked Or Goes Inactive Sooner.
4.2 : An Election Will Have To Be Called And Held Within 14 Days Of One Of Those Events Happening.
4.2.1 : Only The BOD Can Call And Hold An Election
4.3 : You must be a active staff member
4.4 : You may ask anyone to vote for you but you cannot offer any reward whether monetary (i.e. blockbits) or non-monetary (i.e. follow) if they vote for you
4.5 : You must have less than 3 strikes within the previous month
4.6 : Any Staff Member (except trainees) Can Start A Vote To Sack The Manager. There Will Then Be A Vote. If The Vote Is A Majority Yes, The Manager Is Sacked From His Role And Rule 4.2 Comes Into Effect. He Is Still A Staff Member In His Role. If The Vote Is A Majority No, He Stays On
4.6.1 : This Can Only Happen Once A Term
4.6.2 : The BOD Can Refuse To Sack The Manager Regardless Of The Result If The Vote Was False Or If They Have Full Confidence
4.7 : A Manager Can Have Unlimited Terms Once They Are Voted In
4.8 : If The BOD Has No Confidence In The Manager, They Can Sack Him Without A Vote

5 - Rule Violations And Repeat Offenders
5.1 : If Staff Break The Rules, They May Be Issued A Strike.
5.2 : If The Scratch Community Guidelines Are Broken, Your Post Will Be Reported
5.3 : We Can Suspend and/or Terminate A Users Ability To Use Our Services If They Break The Rules and/or Terms Of Service.
5.4 : Repeat Offenders Will Be Punished With A Service Suspension. Further Punishments May Occur If The Rule-Breaking Continues.
5.5 : Repeat Offenders May Also Have Their Post(s) Reported If The Community Guidelines Are Broken

6 - Backups
6.1 : We can only backup 10 projects at a time because of staff constraints.
6.2 : We do not backup projects that break the Community Guidelines and/or Terms Of Use.

If a staff member breaks the rules they will be given a strike
Strikes are signalled by a slash (/) beside the workers name
Strikes reset on the 1st of each month
3 strikes = Suspension
5 strikes = Fired
More then one strike can be given at a time

Roles Explained
Trainee Citizen - Trainees that just joined, they will have to complete an example order to get promoted to New Citizen
New Citizen - After completing the example order, Trainees are promoted to New Citizens.
Citizen - New Citizens are promoted to Citizens when the respond to an activity check for the first time
Experienced Citizen - After completing 7 orders, Citizens are promoted to Experienced Citizens.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Today we will start phase 1 of 4 of the Great Restoration, the plan to make Code City better! We will be introducing some new features and removing some as well. So lets start!
New Feature: Ranks
Everybody will now have a rank. The ranks are Trainee Citizen, New Citizen, Citizen, Experienced Citizen and Governor
Trainee Citizen - Trainees that just joined, they will have to complete an example order to get promoted to New Citizen
New Citizen - After completing the example order, Trainees are promoted to New Citizens.
Citizen - New Citizens are promoted to Citizens when the respond to an activity check for the first time
Experienced Citizen - After completing 7 orders, Citizens are promoted to Experienced Citizens.
Ranks will be given out shortly.

New Feature: Firing Appeals
If you get fired, you now have a week to appeal. If your appeal gets accepted, you are no longer fired. If denied, you have to wait 2 weeks to re-apply.

That is all for this phase of the Great Restoration. The next phase will be announced and released on the week of the 27th of January
