Introduction

△ Sunshine speckles the leaves of the briarwoods trees, lighting up the forest like a fire. Tree leaves whisper like secrets. Bugs cling to trees against fungus and claw marks. In fact, the entire forest is well lit by the golden beams of sun, filtering through swaying leaves of the trees. You can see a patch of vibrant blue sky if you look up, though you're not quite able to tell if it's a bright morning or a late afternoon. You never might be able to be, apart from the sunrise setting over the slightly blocked out horizon. A cool breeze dances through the woods, and the air smells fresh and earthy, like dirt has reached through the countless piles of old acorns. A little steam gurgles nearby, supplying clear, cool, and perfectly clean water, if you wish to take a drink. Wild, plentiful sprigs flowers spring out of the grass, and next to a smooth, sun-washed stone that would be perfect to rest on, there are a variety of edible mushrooms. If they are known to you, they might be welcoming. Yet nothing here is recognisable, even the path you came from. That and the lake stretched out across from you, shining with water. Why is it here, and what use does it serve? And why do you feel as if you’re being watched…..? △

△ Hey there!!!

△ I’m Creepy, a scratcher and roleplayer from the UK(uele)! I go by they/them pronouns and other than scratch, a few of my passions are writing and reading. I try to participate in a few roleplays, especially TSS and Generations, but I also enjoy a few of the smaller rps as well. I enjoy RPing a lot in my spare time, although reading and writing are also a few other fun activities for me! I don’t currently have a character in TFCRP, which I’m hoping won’t go on for too long, as I really like the idea of this. I’m still an absolute bookworm, and some of my favourite books are Shadow and Bone, Mortal Engines, Wings of Fire, and lots more, as that’s just to list a few as I could ramble on all day just about it, especially about WoF or warriors. I can be quite the talkative person at times, but don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation about anything, especially if it’s something you enjoy! Although I’ve been patiently waiting for the next Warriors book to come out, I’m glad to participate on Scratch, in RPs. △ I’m applying for Swankit!!!

˚୨୧⋆ Why am I applying?

△ Although I’d be keen to learn a lot more about Swankit, even without the design I’m highly interested in this litter and certainly this kit. For starters, I’ve seen and heard of Echocavern a lot, so I was curious about the pinglist and definitely interested in the litter ideas so I was extremely excited when it first arrived. And looking into the details of the litter, I’ve been focused around Egyptian mythology a lot recently, so that was definitely something that tempted me along the way. It’s easy to say that I think Fawnkit and Swankit have a lot of potential, but I feel as if they well and truly do. I’d love to see the way they turn out overall, and that’s one of the main reasons I’m applying, not just directly based on the design, even if I adore the idea and look of it a lot - especially as it’s also reawakened a lot of ideas.

˚୨୧⋆ Why should I win?

△ I’m worried that I may come across as entitled so I apologise in advance if anything here sounds awkward in any way. If it does sound entitled, that’s not my intention whatsoever and I’m sorry about that. Everyone’s application is amazing, and mine doesn’t necessarily deserve to win over anyone else’s, especially seeing how many amazing role players are entering!

△ I’ve also been extremely interested in joining TFC. I understand it’s quite a big roleplay, but although the idea of creating my own character is nice, I’d much rather join with a family, as I’ve discovered. I know it’s a big ask to join something I have never roleplayed in before, yet I’d love to join through a kit like Swankit. Although I have both Swallowkit in UrchinClan and Valor in TSS, I’d love to be dedicated to another kitten and stick there. Although this isn’t exactly for certain, I’d also most likely try to keep my dedication on another account to keep things organised and well-tracked, just to not fall into the chaos of not knowing the location of things. If I do win her, I’d really try to stick to three or more roleplays going on, just so it doesn’t get overly complicated and overwhelming. I’d well and truly be dedicated to her, as I am with the other two kittens at the moment. And I’ll seriously try to keep this connection with her and them up and going <3

△ To begin, I’d like to say that my core reason overall for why I Swankit should win her is because of the dedication I’d have to her and the life I’d make her live and enjoy. Although I can’t just be focused on scratch all the time, I’d well and truly attempt to be focused as her life runs through, shaping it and creating it with all the responsibilities it will bring. As mentioned before, even if I shell out a personality here and now, I’d really try to let it grow and expand instead of fall apart, with is something that I’ll definitely be careful to do. I’ll try to make every RP thread dedicated, just as much as any other kitten I dearly care for, and make the experience go well not just for her expanding person, yet also for the other roleplayer to really try and make it a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone to be a part of, not just for myself. I’d really love to make Swankit;s life as dedicated yet graceful and well-fitting as possible, not just something purely random that flicks into my head before disappearing. No, I’d really really try well and hard to make every roleplay creative and well-thought of, even if it rambles just a little bit about details or just things like settings and things, yet I’d be seriously dedicated. I’ve been really into getting a TFCRP t kitty, and Swankit is honestly like a dream to me. I know how many greats Roleplayers may also be entering, yet I’d really love for you to consider me, even if that’s a big ask.

△ I can’t say that Swankit’s life will just be full of fun, yet I can promise it will be fairly realistic. I have a pet cat, and I’ve seen enough of his antics to know a little more about cats in a certain way. I’d really really try to be active with her as well, mostly of weekends maybe more than weekdays for the obvious reasons. I can’t say I’ll always be active at every second, yet I’d try to keep my head full of idea in preparation for both roleplays and the little pieces of fun that I’d let her find. I’d make sure that Swankit here wouldn’t be mundane, and although I don’t have a Tfcrp cat to show how well or how easily I’d roleplay with her, I’d really really try to make Swankit have a good and fulfilling life amongst the clans. I’d really pour my focus into her, as well as acting in her beliefs and ideas instead of not.

˚୨୧⋆ how involved are you in your character's lives?

△ I tend to be very involved in my characters lives, especially with those I really treasure. Although I do like to have their story influenced in a way it might chance my own future ideas over time, I love seeing other characters affect others and really make a difference. I like to try and have the most control over my characters plot, but if something needs a change for any reason, especially to fit the roleplay and what’s now happened, I’ll do so, although I’ll never let the story really slip away.

˚୨୧⋆ Character history

△ I don’t really have much of a history for TFCRP cats, yet I do have quite a big history for some outside of that.

△ My first big taste in Roleplaying was a cat called Sharkspruce. He was my first proper go at doing anything like this, and I was really glad to see him grow. When I was mainly roleplaying with him, I’d always focus on growing his personality - he started off extremely nervous as an apprentice, and after a singular fairly brave act he slowly got more confident. I’d like to say that Sharkspruce was perfect, but he really wasn’t. For starters, I threw myself into something that I couldn’t exactly handle, which was his first relationship attempt, which I’m ok to say I walked out of pretty quickly due to my lack of knowledge about it. Although if most definitely learnt from that, especially with the bean now having a mate, I’d really know how to learn from situations like that. Yes, I’ve still got Sharkspruce in my hands, and although I can’t see him constantly being anything big in the roleplay, I’d like to say he’ll get further in the future.

△ I don’t remember too many of the cats after Sharkspruce, apart from maybe Shatteredstorm, but another cat I’d like to discuss is my first TSS cat, Cormorantcrash.

△ Cormorantcrash is, unfortunately, the reason why I’ve really tried to be extremely dedicated and focused on most cats I roleplay. He started off as a kitten I really enjoyed Roleplaying as, around four moons maybe when I started. He wasn’t from a litter or anything,a den although he gained a few friends, I quickly lost a little interest in him. He was probably one of the first cats I’ve k1lled off, and I’d be glad to say that it’s not happening again anytime soon. Shatteredstorm, unlike Corm, was a cat I defiantly enjoyed roleplaying all the time. He wasn’t a key part of MossClan, but that was fine. I’ll probably never forget him, but I still find it unfortunate that what happened to MossClan happened, but I still had a great experience with him that I’d like to remember. Putting it short, all of this has helped me expand my knowledge about real playing, little by little.


˚୨୧⋆ Activity levels

△ I would happily put myself at a 8.5 out of 10 on activity levels, for most of the time. I always attempt to at least answer a few messages before school and after, mostly due to th3 fact I won’t be on during school hours - for obvious reasons. When it comes to breaks, hiatuses I will sometimes go on them, though only mostly during holidays due to inactivity when I come across it, and if I do, I will make it clear beforehand and probably check in every once and a while still. But apart from that, I try to keep my roleplay chains going on for as long as possible!

˚୨୧⋆ Longevity

△ I’ll definitely aim to keep Swankit for as long as I can, but I’ll keep my minimum as 40 (or litter set) moons, and the goal in mind would be 95+ moons! Although I’m not too certain that 40 would be my minimum, it’s definitely not a chosen number, and I think I’m pretty capable of keeping her for a long time, as I’m really attached to her and the characters I’m actually attached to are still alive, and I’ll still try to keep all my cats active and up and going! <3

˚୨୧⋆ Roleplaying notes

△-As I’m trying to do with a few other characters, I’ll try to keep a project as a storage/tracker for all of Swan’s roleplay threads. I’ll also try to keep a relationship tracker, as well as an open relationship finder.

△-I’ll try to keep all threads at least one or two comments long at a minimum, but I’ll still try to match the length of whoever I’m roleplaying with, if needed. I’ll focus more on quality than quantity with my responses whenever possible.

˚୨୧⋆ How involved are you in the community?

△ I’d say I’m not too involved in the TFCRP, mostly due to not having joined yet, although I still keep an eye on kittens I’ve heard of before, such as Ectasykit, as well as checking the studios sometimes. I’m extremely eager to join, hopefully maybe through Swankit, as I still love and adore roleplaying as the angsty goober cats I’m so absorbed with.

˚୨୧⋆ how often & severely do you harm your characters, mentally and physically?

△ I don’t harm characters very much, especially physically, but I will if the time really calls for it. For example, after a argument with a clanmate, I’ll try to make the character feel a little bit down, but not by much, or if the clan is at risk, I’ll make sure to maybe give them a small deal of damage. My reasoning is although I love to keep my characters away from harm, it’s fairly reasonable to get them slightly injured in a sort of battle cats roleplay, mostly due to how hard it is to escape harm in the warriors books anyway. But I’ll still try to keep Swankit safe as much as possible, so don’t expect too many bad situations to happen, but overall I would say I don’t harm my characters too often, and when I do it’s only due to the situations around them.

△ During the entire first few moons of her life, Swankit will stay Cisgender female and straight.

△ Around the start of her apprentice ship, Swankit will most likely become more of a Pansexual kitty, discovering her connection between all cats. She might still stay Cisgender, yet also might become Bigender after some realisation (male and female) although still maybe leaning to the female side.

Adulthood

△ Swankit will probably stay as a Pansexual cat, yet if not already Bigender she’ll probably become one. Her sexuality could still change slightly during experiences, however, though she’d most likely stay Pan.

˚୨୧⋆ kit to adult comparison

△ When Swan is a kit, she’ll probably be a little more bubbly, although maybe a little droopy still too. She’ll most likely be a lot more quiet around the older warriors, all apart from her family, and up until she’s an apprentice, she’ll just stick to that. During her apprenticeship, she’ll probably still be pretty similar, although now more and more focused in everyone else, which will add more to her cautious nature. During this period of time, she might try to stick to her family more, especially Fawnkit. Sure, her positive parts might make her a little more successful than you’d think, but she’ll still be a little nervous. Despite this, I’d like to say she’d still try and stay a little out of the shadows. When she finally does become a warrior, I’m not entirely sure what I’ve got planned, but I’d say that her positives will try and outshine the negatives a lot more.

Gentle-natured • soft and mild; not harsh and stern or severe. Natured.

▪︎ Soft-heartedly, Swankit seems to wander around the lakeside as if without a wish to harm a single fly along the way. As an always-gentle soul, the little bird finds comfort in peace rather than violence and often finds herself leaning towards the more quiet side of the two. Violence and harsh treatment of other cats are not something she is familiar with. She feels no need for such things. She isn’t radically excitable, nor angry, or sad, rather a sort of soft in-between. She’s generally calm, not raising her voice, or showing aggression in any way. In reality, Swankit is a lost soul grasping for hopes and dreams never to be successful. A light in the dark is no doubt hidden from her view, yet the kitten is gentle enough with everything. Never harmful, she’ll try to negotiate even without a single skill, She’ll A feather lost in the wind, however, is often mistaken for something more light than it truly is. Swankit is suspected to be far weaker than she truly is in every way. No, she sings her songs with heart not with fear, and the tiny hatching only wishes to grow more in that section than anywhere else.

▪︎A spirit of summer rather than winter, Swankit shall never be afraid to portray true feelings and thoughts. It’s clear enough even from a hazy perspective that the gentle kitten will warm up to everyone with enough warmth for even the most hardened woods to weaken. As everything is quiet, she’ll silently gather her bearings enough to try and keep a pleasant smile on her face. As a kit, Swankit has realised never to stand down against certain feelings. She’s not exactly a storm herself, but by resorting to showing her love for her friends and family with actions such as nuzzling, giving gifts or even simply smiling at them tends to be something she does often. She cares deeply about those close to her, and always wants to show it.

▪︎Although she may not ye most resilient, holding together bonds and keeping them bound all whilst defending others is something that places itself in one young kitten. Like a twig, she will snap, yet she can and will blaze like a forest fire - pushing on and on before being dragged into smoke - and that’s what she will try to do. She is well aquatinted with the minds of her friends and family, like a swan in a lake, their quiet manner rising above the water, lotuses, and dragging weeds, like a voice of reason. This is no proper reasoning, however - although her loyalty is string, her persuasion is not, and the best she can do is sound like she means what she says.

She’ll have an extremely hard time establishing and maintaining relationships, her socially awkwardness probably not helping on bit, and she might rely on Fawnkit to do things for her. A lot. Making any friends or even holding the prospect of dating will be difficult for her, and she may just feel more isolated and lonely, especially if it’s obvious how much fun anyone else is having, such as Fawnkit, without her.

△ Social anxiety can also create feelings of depression, low self-esteem, self-criticism, negative self-image, and hypersensitivity to criticism. Social anxiety can also stunt the development of essential social skills, which could very well lead Swankit into both anxious in social situations while also afraid to work to develop the social skills needed.

˚୨୧⋆Long-term effects

△ If left untreated, social anxiety /will/ control most of Swankit’s life. I’m sort of hoping that something will cure it at a point, such as apprentice-hood or just talking about it to Fawnkit, yet it might not go. I’d like to say that she wouldn’t have any anxiety talking to her family, except maybe Jackalrite. However, if left untreated, many different effects can happen.

△ Swankit might have trouble later in life, if the social phobia hasn’t gone, with being assertive or even just having high self-esteem. She would most likely just seem isolated from everyone else all the time, and probably blame it all on herself, naturally. This isolation from others also might make it seem difficult to try and speak with them again, mostly out of fear of them perhaps wondering why she was even staying away from them in the first place. She may have a hard time maintaining healthy relationships due to this, although she may not shy away from those she knows well, yet the main problem is meeting them in the first place. Gatherings, whenever they happen, or just large groups of cats, will be a big problem for her, mostly with the feel of lots of people judging her adding on pressure to what she does, which opens a lot of mistakes.

△ She also, because of this, may have few or no social or romantic relationships, which can and will make her feel powerless, alone, and unloved. And she’d be constantly terrified that others will evaluate her negatively or that she’ll just end up embarrassing or humiliating herself in front of everyone. It can be economically dangerous too, as it might severely affect her apprenticehood, so much in fact that she might be made a warrior / medicine cat far far behind anyone else due to lack of learning.

△ However, I’d also say that Swankit’s social anxiety /could/ be selective. She’d just have trouble doing certain interactions, which I’d say would be with any cat she thinks will look down at her, or even just judge her wrongly. She’d probably be ok making a few kit friends, yet would find it hard binding with even the kindest mentor or friendliest warrior, just due to them being older and more experienced.

△ Even at this point, it is possible to cure social anxiety. Breathing exercises help, as well as routine, or even just trying. I’d hope to say that maybe a family member would be able to help her progress on well and leave the worries behind, or at least some.

△ Paranoid personality disorder (PPD) is a psychiatric disorder distinguished by a pervasive pattern of distrust and suspiciousness of others, leading to impairments in psychosocial functioning. This pattern of behaviour may increase the risk for depressive and anxiety disorders. Some individuals with PPD may later develop schizophrenia, as an example. Individuals with PPD often suspect without sufficient basis that others are exploiting or deceiving them and are preoccupied with unjustified doubts about the loyalty or trustworthiness of friends and associates. Patients with PPD are reluctant to confide in others due to an unwarranted fear that the information could be used maliciously against them.

△ Patients with paranoid personality disorder distrust others and assume that others intend to harm or deceive them, even when they have no or insufficient justification for these feelings.

˚୨୧⋆ People with Social Anxiety may:

△ Feel reluctant to confide with others (in this case, with friends but not close family members)
△ Easily hold grudges
△ Find demeaning or threatening subtext in even the most innocent of comments or events, or just feel alone and disappointed by them and shy away

△ Swankit’s paranoid personality disorder will also add another challenging layer into her. As an individual with PPD, she’ll find it even more difficult to for, connections with others, mostly revolving around her and her families safety - can she really trust this cat, of are they really someone she shouldn’t trust or just feel suspicious of? This can also lead to her observant nature taking even the slightest wring move a completely wrong way, which can lead to her distrusting the other cat, as well as adding confusion to her herself if she believed she could trust them. She may also feel like others are always out to harm her or take advantage of her, which can lead to even more distrust and distress around others.

△ Swankit will often feel the fear and distrust that comes with PPD, and may find it challenging to complete even the simplest of tasks. She might constantly feel as if she’s being monitored or watched by everyone else, as if she’s something she isn’t, which can easily lead to feelings of self-consciousness and embarrassment. This will make most interactions with others difficult for her, especially that with her own mentor as she may feel like they’re the cause of this, and will find most daily activities hard to complete with confidence.

△ The effects of paranoid personality disorder could lead Swankit into other mental health concerns, such as depression and anxiety, which could make it even harder from her to simply manage the problem. Being around people she trust may help, yes, yet she can’t always cling to them at all occasions. If the problem isn’t sorted, if it’s even possible to fix it, she’ll just find hostility in every area where it isn’t. Just being around others will be difficult, yes, yet hopefully if so, she’ll have begun to get used to the feeling.

˚୨୧⋆Long-term effects

△If the problem is allowed to progress, Swankit may have severe problems with any interaction. Left untreated, it will interfere with her being able to grasp her own relationships, which could make the closest bonds snap, who knows. This also could affect her ability to function socially, and with the problems already floating around that it could have a massive impact on her.
