Q&A with bans
Here are Q&As about bans:
1. Why I was banned?
- Some reasons might be not following community guidelines, reshare projects unshared by the scratch team, behave inappropriately, and was reported by multiple users on a thing ( Your project? Your comment? Your discussion forums? )
2. Can we get unbanned?
- Only if your ban is temporary or has an appeal section. If your ban has an appeal, you should type in why your account was blocked.
If you are permanently banned, you should contact the scratch team.
3. Can I ban someone on Scratch Wiki?
- Yes, but only if you have an account. If you are not bureaucrats you can request someone to be banned. If you are a bureaucrat you can ban someone.
4. Why my account was deleted?
- A user's accounts might be deleted (sometimes with an IP ban) if:
1. The user acts like they have disregarded the Scratch Team's alerts by continually misbehaving
2. The case was a one-time severe offense
3. The deletion was requested after a long-term ban
In an account deletion, not only your account was deleted, but all of your projects, comments, forums, and studios will also be deleted.
If you had other questions, let us know

Hello! It's great that you want to help out other Scratchers. However, I think we have enough guides in the forums at the moment. Please feel free to welcome new Scratchers on the group welcoming topic or on individual topics created by New Scratchers.
Other places that can always use more helpful Scratchers like you, are the "Help With Scripts“ and ”Questions About Scratch" areas - please use them as designed, by responding to topics created by folks with problems to solve
Finally, a really good place for Scratch guides is the Scratch Wiki - check it out and see if it's something you might like to work on. They have a number of guides - and great organization.
