Rhythm Doctor is the second game made by the independent game studio 7th Beat Games. While still technically in a pre-release state, it has gathered enough of a following that I figured this topic would be worth making. The mechanics of the game seem unusually simple for a rhythm game, consisting of tapping a single button to a seven- or two-beat rhythm. This simple architecture, alongside a quality selection of secondary gimmicks, allows the gameplay to be intuitively and beautifully meshed with the surrounding music.

Did someone say Rhythm Doctor? Awesome game! 7th Beat Games is awesome, and I love Rhythm Doctor’s fun characters and interactions. The gameplay is great too. It seems so simple but is so hard in practice. It’s great to see a fellow Rhythm Doctor player.
