SAC June 2024 ⎔ Weekendly 8-9
It’s the first weekendly of the June 2024 session of SAC! Time has surely flown over the last week :)
In this weekendly, you will be exploring different styles of art and how they can really change how an object looks. So! Start this weekendly by choosing one object that you’ll be willing to draw multiple times. Awesome, now choose 4 different art styles. Some examples of different art styles are realism, pointillism, and cubism, but there are so many more!
Once you’ve chosen an object and your styles, you’re going to be drawing that object in each of your chosen styles! Don’t be afraid to do research on your chosen art styles, it can be super helpful to find references. You might even learn some new techniques! Feel free to take it slow, learning new styles takes work. Once you’re done, take a look at your 4 drawings and try to see what differences and what similarities you can find :D
If this weekendly sounds a little confusing, never fear! An example has been made by Aqua (@Aquxii–). Keep in mind that though this example only has 3 styles, your weekendly should have 4 styles in it.

In order to earn the 320 possible points for this weekendly, make sure that you have completed all 4 drawings and submitted them to the Main Lodge by 11:59 pm NT on June 9th. Good luck and have fun!
