when i try to sign in it wont let me type in my password on the home page

What do you mean by ‘won’t let me'? Is there no password box, or is there one but you can't type in it?
Also click the globe symbol at the top of the post box, then you can post your browser/operating system. My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Chrome 39.0.2171.95, Flash 16.0 (release 0)
