What is the difference between reporting using the report button and contact us?
Contact Us is used for more serious situations; for example, mass reporting. That means, it has more priority than reporting regular.

What is the difference between reporting using the report button and contact us?
Reports are used to report specific things (projects, studios, comments, forum posts, etc.) while Contact Us is used to discuss any matter with the Scratch Team. Contact Us should only be used for reports if the regular report button isn't sufficient (for example there is a larger pattern of behavior or there is some context that might not be obvious just from looking at the reported content). In general reports are preferred if they are usable (which is to say someone looking at the reported content will quickly be able to tell what's wrong with it without any further explanation), but even they can take some time to be handled.

I'm not really sure why you would need to use Contact Us for “mass reporting.” Contact Us is used for more serious situations; for example, mass reporting. That means, it has more priority than reporting regular.
