Is it legal to play copyright music in the background on scratch projects?
Is it legal to play copyright music in the background of my scratch project? I want to play Hedwig's Theme, a copyrighted song, is it legal or is there a legal way to do it?

You can, as long as you credit the source. There's a very, very small chance that someone who owns the song will see it. This could result in a DMCA (legal action) and your project could get taken down. Try not to worry about that, though, as copyrighted music has been used in countless projects and most likely, most people won't care about Scratch using the sound.
You could also try using copyright-free sounds, but copyrighted music is fine.

Happy almost-mid 2024! My favorite book series are Percy Jackson, The Unwanteds, and Keeper of the Lost Cities! I've read all of the books.

There isn't, which means there's a very, very low chance that this will happen. I believe it's just that some companies don't want their sounds on a website. Most are okay with this, though, since Scratch is a .edu and an educational site. Is there any legal cause though? I am not proffiting off of it.
