so a little something i know is that you must pay for a website to make it stay on and i know that one way to do is to make adds on the website but i dont believe theres a single add that has ever been on the website.another way is to sell stuff but really has anyone ever seen a single downloadable block or a scratch cat t-shirt im sure i havent.a third way ist to make the visitors donate money but when you see a donate thing on this website let me know.so ive been wondering how does scratch stay funded i think bill gates created the website but maybee im wrong.so yeah can someone tell me when they now the answer thanks and eat your veggies

Scratch does have a store (a zazzle store or something like that) and it does accept donations, but a lot of the funding comes from the group that started it. (lifelong kindergarten?)

Scratch doesn't and will never have ads on the website.
