It's a an issue that involves a system called ScratchDB and one of your browser extensions. I can't give much more information but it's not a Scratch issue.

That doesn't help me. The issue is still the same.

This is a problem with your extension, which I know because I have it. If you want to see the actual post count disable your extension.

It isn't due to an extension: I can see it, and I don't have any extensions installed.

No, I think the original poster was either trying to say that a school computer was used, so browser extensions couldn't be used, or that the original poster thought it said browser.
Also, I can see it when I use inspect, and I don't have the “setting” that changes the post count number to ScratchDB:

My browser / operating system: MacOS 11.3, Chrome 124.0.0.0, No Flash versions detected
Did you try clicking on the link in the original poster?

My first post showed 0 posts after posting as well. https://u.cubeupload.com/han614698/Screenshot2024051621.png

And now after this one it shows two. I'm guessing it just skips one for some reason.

I swear I have seen 1 post before though, but not sure if that is the case because I made my forum layout resemble what the 2.0 forum layout looked like at first.

This happens in vanilla Scratch too, it's hard to spot in the wild but it occurs on a user's first forum post, try skimming New Scratchers.
