welp, i cancelled Pole Position 3D, but i do want to make another game, Paper Racers!
most if not all all the sprites would be made out of paper, and i think it will be mario kart based?
but there are some problems…

i never done anything complicated with pen before

anyways, can you supply a small tutorial please?

One Idea. Try making a 2d, top-down racing game, have the player character be a yellow arrow, and than use Griffpatch's 3D raycast tutorial.

As long as you are good at level design, the top-down part should be easy, and the Griffpatch tutorial handles raycasting really well.
