st alerts have power I think (severity of issue) so can an st make a 0 power alert for something like minor spam or making suggestion hub etc (or is that 1 power)

I believe they're trying to suggest a warning system for scratch, and if you get a certain amount of warnings, you get banned. I think.

That entirely depends on what the big bad words were, what the small spam messages were, how frequently these comments had been sent, what this user did in the past, etc….

Anyway, I'm going to circle this back to what I think the original question is. I think the original question is as follows:

Can the Scratch Team send you a “good” alert that is not meant as a warning/punishment and doesn't contribute to the possibility of you getting banned?

The answer is yes. Although uncommon, this has been done before.

I think kind of all and none of them are, I'm pretty sure there's no “consecutive ban count system” and moderators just decide on their own if a user should be banned or not if they have too many alerts (probably taking all of them into account depending on how severe they are).

there probably is something like this, with low power alerts being ones like “you’re eligible to become scratcher” and “you’ve been featured” as they dont show up in blocks
high power alerts being warnings with “if you continue your account could be blocked”
