take a ps4/ps5 controller idk what to do if you are using xbox then conect it using usb or press the ps button and the share button and then go to bluetooth devices and select your controller and when your controller is connected use the touch pad to move around use two fingers to scroll up and down and just click it if you want to click something I found out you could do this by myself also if you are on usb you don't have to do the other part .

Finally, a really good place for Scratch guides is the Scratch Wiki - check it out and see if it's something you might like to work on. They have a number of guides - and great organization.
