They will not.

A manager of such a studio can use Contact Us to request for the studio host to be changed.

Assuming I take that path, who would be selected as the host if there are multiple managers?

You and the other managers should decide who would be a good fit. The Scratch Team will likely ask to verify that active managers of the studio accept your (collective) choice for the new host.

I think we’re allowed to switch every 24 hours, if it’s the same as other studios.

I reckon we should do what GWDFI does, swapping the manager around every week? that way a fresh CHQ QOTW/POTW/BVOTD can be updated frequently. Should we sort out a roster and ask around to all the managers as to who wants to do it and who's happy to just stay as a manager? we could also organize changing up the schedules if people are going to be away/hiatus/long-termleave

When someone goes inactive they don't always give notice, and they always make a last action. Therefore it's just as likely that these users will go inactive during that week.

I agree, there are a lot of studios where the Host is inactive and none of the managers will step up. It's a solid plan.
