Whenever I try to edit my latest project(Unshared, but it's a 1S1S if that helps,) safari completely screws up. When I check Activity Monitor my CPU has rushed off to 50% but the safari reading is 109%. It is making it literally impossible to edit my game as safari then crashes. Can someone help? There's nothing wrong with my computer, it is good and has 200GB left.

How much RAM do you have, and what sort of CPU do you have?

iMac 7.1, OS X 10.5.8, Intel duo core L2 Cache(Whatever that is) 4mb, Memory(I presume that this is RAM) 1GB. The computer is about 5 years old.
