We need a tutorial for how to use the backpack IN SCRATCH so more people know what it does instead of left being confused when stumbling upon it.
The tutorial could explain what the backpack can be used for and what it can do. What it can hold. How to give credit for it, etc.

I was also confused. I had no idea what it was. I never used the tutorial section in the editor. But I know people do.

If you haven’t yet, you could also take the Scratch Team’s new survey on ways to help New Scratchers figure things out and mention this.

Full support, Its such a useful tool that not everyone knows about. I was amazed when I stumbled upon it a good 2 years after I had been using scratch

What if instead of a video, a small tab would appear when you click on it for the first time explaining what it can do?

Support, there's already one on the scratch team's yt, so why not the ideas section?

If this gets implemented, one thing. Make sure they explain how to give credit properly so they don't get accused of stealing.

Yes!! I found out about it by looking through projects, and I saw a project that said “free code to backpack.” I thought this was a joke at the time/

It is worth noting that on many screens, the backpack feature can only be found when the device is in fullscreen mode. For this reason, the backpack feature is often not known about.

Mentioning this issue in a tip would be great.

Also, you can copy costumes to other sprites and the Stage (same thing for backdrops and scripts):



I think this should also be stated in the same tutorial.

Why cant we search it up on scratch?
