Well, everything is public on scratch (except all your personal info ofc)

Currently, if you favorite a project, the project creator gets a notification for that. If your suggestion were implemented, would the project creator still get a notification for getting their project favorited by someone who has their favorite projects hidden?

If so, then that somewhat defeats the purpose of invisibility (although, granted, less people would see the notification than they otherwise would if the favorite was shown on the user's profile).

But if not, I can see that it would be confusing for someone's project to gain favorites but they can't tell where those favorites are coming from.

The Scratcher Would Get A Message When Thier Project Was Favourited. But It Wouldn't Appear On The “Favorited Projects” Page.
