i had a friend called (removed by moderator - please don't name names), and i think he got banned but he seamed like a pretty good scratcher so i confused why he got banned.

Ask them it will usually say why

Your friend should read his ban message so he would know why his account got banned.
If he feels like his account was mistakenly banned, he should use Contact Us.

normally if a friend is banned they should have a reason why

Doesn't make much sense to contact Scratch to ask how a friend was banned… how would Scratch know if you are the banned person's friend?
