one of my projects wont save.

okay so:
im trying to upload a song, its 4 minutes 29 seconds long, the size for it and everything else is fine, my other projects will save, just not this one. my internet is fine. it was supposed to be uploaded this morning, its 18 minutes past 3 (pm) now and it still will not save. any advice?

Then reopen it

i've downloaded it around 7 times, still wont work

As GlitchedThrough said, make sure the song is not over 10MB. Songs have to be under that size limit

If you uploaded the song as a wav, it takes up a BUNCH more space, so maybe convert it to mp3. You can also compress the audio file even more to shrik the file size.

Try lowering the Bitrate a bit. Your computer has to have the power to upload it.

ah okay, how do i do that, exactly?

check if the project.json is less than 5mb
or it may be servers having trouble
or try checking your internet (this actually helps)

The process is a little complicated so I'll go through it step by step so that anyone who reads it will be able to do it.

1. Upload the audio.

2. Select half the audio.

3. Without deselecting the region, click “copy to new”.

4. If your selected region looks like the one above, click “delete”.

You now have two audio files, which are the first and last parts of the song. Playing them one after another should play the whole song.

If it does not save, repeat this process until it does.

Here's how you can check the size of an asset or a project.json file.
Download the project, change the .sb3 extension to .zip (you might need to turn on “show file extensions for known file types” in Windows Explorer Folder Settings), open the zip and look at the file size.
