Unusual Scratch usernames list

There is a similar topic in this forum discussing two-character usernames, so I think this forum is the best fit for this topic

Names listed in blue have recent activity within the last 365 days, while names listed in red have their account deleted.

Yes, they do. You can try going to their pages yourself if you want to test them out.

The ATs aren't technical support. It is perfectly valid to ask questions about things related to programming, but not issues with external websites, apps, or devices. Most sites have their own support system; try asking there!
Is it related to something you are making in Scratch? (This includes OSes and other Scratch projects) If so, please post in Collaboration, Show and Tell, or another similar forum.
Is your topic questionably “advanced”? Try browsing the other forums to see if your topic fits better in one of those.
Issues with Scratch itself should be put in Bugs and Glitches.

Before you post: Is what you're posting likely to start an argument or derail the thread (e.g., browsers, operating systems)? If so, please re-think your post!

I notice a lot of the >20 char usernames are teacher accounts. At least one of the non-teacher ones had their username changed because of personal info they put in it (so they didn't just register the account). I wonder if there's something in the teacher account system that allows longer usernames.

nope, i checked (without making an account obvs). i think it was an early version (hence alpha) of the teacher accounts.

This is only possible through Contact Us if your username contains personal information, gender dysphoria, or is inappropriate. You could still keep that account following a username change. This was the method used by @gasstationwithoutpumps and 3 other accounts in the “20+ character usernames” list.

Newer GDPR compliant accounts will just be deleted. (I only found one that meets this definition so far).

I was born in Vietnam and live here, i'm not proud of that though because there are people who are racists, and most people I met in my country of origin are trash, they're very mean.

I know the basics of my first language Vietnamese but I struggle with pronunciation and differentiating tones (a few exceptions)

Hence why i'm moving to Canada, a better place to live.

I may sound like a non-English speaker, but I've known English my whole life. I just write formally when necessary. Oh and here's a random image made in Paint MC for extra.

Not possible by normal means now. In the first month of Scratch's release and when it was still on ScratchR this was possible. Now this is only possible with untested Javascript modifications to the Join Scratch page.
