Adding GIF files to Scratch
I've been trying to add GIF files here so many times, but it wouldn't let me do that. The last GIF file I uploaded is about 27 MB, and when I uploaded it as a Sprite, it said Importing, but it still didn't let me add it as a Sprite. What should I do to add GIF files as Sprites?

Have you tried using ezgif.coms Gif compressor?

How many frames in the GIF are you trying to import? If compressing doesn’t work you may have to split it, which the above tool provides.
If you can open the developer tools in your browser, go to the console and check if there are any new errors as you are importing the GIF.

27 MB is over the asset limit (10MB), which may be the issue here.

I'm trying to make it import a GIF to 10 MB or less, or as little as possible to consider it as a Sprite. How many frames in the GIF are you trying to import? If compressing doesn’t work you may have to split it, which the above tool provides.
