An animation when the heart or star is clicked

This would add a small animation when those buttons are pressed.

Is there any reason why this should be added other than “it looks good”? Because this doesn't seem to change any function on the site. It'd be low priority for the Scratch developers since so many other updates are more important.

people could lie that the blocks are in the code and then its not.

You probably have misunderstood

This is suggesting an animation for when you click the love/favorite button on the project page, similar to YouTube's like button animation (which I hate with a passion since it's basically ez lag)

It would encourage people to like/favorite projects more, which just seems like a win-win

I'm not sure about it. If you can turn it on and off, then that's good. Some people might want to heart and star and then leave the project page. The animation shouldn't be too long.

i mean it is just a simple animation of it like filling up or some particles right? it will probably not be super long for a simple animation.
