Advertise Scratch Wiki more

RethinkingVoxels

Scratch Wiki usually has the solutions to HwS questions, so if you advertise it more, it could decrease HwS topics, and maybe decrease the lag.
Related suggestion, doesn't need to be added: Merge Scratch Wiki to main Scratch website

It currently is only in the bottom of each page and it's there on a few Wiki-related topics. What would the dropdown contain?

just the wiki.

Scratch Wiki is not officially affiliated with Scratch, so I don't think Scratch would do any more than what they've done now.

I believe it is.
They hosted it for a while, and then officially handed it off to the current maintainers.

I had no idea that the Scratch Wiki has solutions to Help with Scripts questions. If your intent is to use the Scratch Wiki to advertise scripting help, then something more than simply linking to the Wiki would need to be done.

That is beside the point that the Help with Scripts forum is probably better in some sense, for there is value in getting scripting help from another Scratcher…

The Scratch Wiki was actually a part of the Scratch website for a bit, the url used to be wiki.scratch.mit.edu too. However:

The text could just be “Wiki” or sth like that if that's the reason “Scratch Wiki” is in a dropdown.

I mean, there are actually articles for stuff like this, and blocks have a workaround section (I have seen people ask for help on “recreating blocks”), not sure how to show this right now though because resource error is happening for like the 100000000th time XD

Indeed, for not being official, they're lucky that they're in the footer at all.

They're official to an extent.
The ST handed it over to a couple of people a while ago, and provided an API IIRC
