Stories From Space is a show about the solar system, and possibly outside things, like black holes or different star systems. You could compare it to Solarballs on youtube, or the Miniverse series by EileenDrawings, but it will feature the POVs of all the planets, not just one. Also it will have an entirely different storyline, and designs for each of them.

Rules:

To be a voice actor, you must be 11+ (At least a preteen) or have parental permission as to not have young children having their voices posted online.
Follow the scripts of the writers, and if you feel something is off ask then, if accepted, fix it in your audio.
Don't write or animate anything inappropriate for the stories.
Check in with me while writing so I can check things if they are wrong, or something else.
If you are applying to be a VA Please record your auditions so that I can accept you (They are listed here)
If you are writing, please make it inclusive (ex: mlm or wlw relationships)
Please don't add anything religious, not that there's anything wrong with that, though these are planets, inanimate objects.

Voice Acting Stuff: \/ These are the lines I need recorded for auditions.
– Sun - Female and adult voice - “I'm the Sun, I'm the source of life for Earth and I give off light as well.”
– Mercury - Male and young voice - “I'm Mercury, I'm the smallest planet in the solar system and I am also the fastest.”
– Venus - Male and young voice - “I'm Venus, I'm the hottest planet and my days are longer than my years.”
– Earth - Female and young voice - “I'm Earth, I'm a planet with life and water, as well as many environments.” TAKEN
– Mars - Male and young voice - “I'm Mars, I'm the planet that Earthlings are looking to visit in person.” TAKEN
– Jupiter - Male and young voice - “I'm Jupiter, I'm the biggest planet and I protect the inner planets from asteroids.” TAKEN
– Saturn - Female and young voice - “I'm Saturn, I'm the planet with the most moons and largest rings.” TAKEN
– Uranus - Male and young voice - “I'm Uranus, I'm the planet whose atmosphere is made of hydrogen sulfide.”
– Neptune - Female and young voice - “I'm Neptune, I'm the farthest planet from the Sun.”
– Pluto - Female and young voice - “I'm Pluto, I'm the smallest ”planet,“ and I was demoted to a dwarf planet in 2006.”

Extra notes:
– Sun - An older female, a mother-like figure. Requires a slightly more mature voice.
– Mercury - Youngest planet, kind of like an energetic younger brother. Requires a younger, faster voice.
– Venus - Slightly older male, a teen like voice if you know what I mean. Requires an older voice.
– Earth - Young female, very tired all the time. Requires a slower more “tired” voice.
– Mars - A little older than Earth, about the same as Venus. Requires a more quiet voice.
– Jupiter - The oldest planet, an adult like figure. Requires a more mature voice.
– Saturn - Second oldest, another adult like figure. Requires a more mature voice.
– Uranus - Third youngest planet, like a kind young child. Requires a childish voice.
– Neptune - Slightly younger than Earth, kind of childish. Requires a soft voice.
– Pluto - Second youngest planet, very closed kind. Requires a “loving” voice.

Q&A:
Q - Will this take place on scratch?
A - Yes! At at the moment as it may be published to youtube eventually

Q - How long will the videos be? And how often will they be posted?
A - About 15 minutes long, possibly longer, but shorter for the beginning, maybe like 5-10 minutes per episode. And the rate will depend on the animators, preferably 1 per week, but if it takes the animators longer it takes them longer, can't rush good work!

As I saw in your other recordings and auditions, I figure that you are more suitable for one of the younger characters, such as Earth, Neptune, or Pluto. You can also ask for a “backup” VA position, this means that you will be cast as a moon or another solar object like an asteroid. I'm looking forward to see you join our team!
